[Getting Started and Creating an Account](https://help.oxfordabstracts.com/knowledge/getting-started-and-creating-an-account?hsLang=en) # Updating your profile ## Changing your name, email address or password is a simple process that can be done at any time, whilst logged in to the Oxford Abstracts app. Skip to: [Updating your profile if you have logged in with a third party account (e.g.Google / Linkedin)](https://help.oxfordabstracts.com/knowledge/updating-your-profile#UOD)   To *permanently delete* your account follow the instructions on **[this article](https://help.oxfordabstracts.com/knowledge/how-an-attendee-can-delete-their-oxford-abstracts-account?hsLang=en). **   To access your profile navigate to the top right of your [Oxford Abstracts](http://app.oxfordabstracts.com) dashboard, click on the icon that has your initial on and your email address.  ### ![](https://help.oxfordabstracts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202024-11-08%20at%2015-23-59-png.png?width=333&height=78&name=Screenshot%202024-11-08%20at%2015-23-59-png.png) Next select **My Profile.** ![](https://help.oxfordabstracts.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202024-11-08%20at%2015-24-41-png.png?width=240&height=233&name=Screenshot%202024-11-08%20at%2015-24-41-png.png) On the next screen you have the option to update your name, email address or password. To update either of these, click either **Change Name, Change Email or Reset Password** and follow the instructions, clicking save when you are done making alterations. You may want to do this if you decide you want to disassociate your Oxford Abstracts account with your third party one.
