Attending an Event
Opening and closing decision making
In order to make the decision system live, you will need to open decisions.
The guidance below is for event administrators/ organisers. If you are an end user (eg. submitter, reviewer, delegate etc), please click here.
To assign Committee members, go to Manage users
Go to Event dashboard
You will see the Decisions panel on the screen.
When you are ready to start making decisions on submissions, you can copy the link (1) by clicking in the greyed out area.
You will see a slider switch (2) under Decision Status. Simply click to open or close this feature on/off. The switch will be orange when reviews are set to open.
3) Click the Visible to submitter switch when you are ready to permit submitters to view their decision status.
You will need to notify submitters via email of their decisions. Although they will see the decision when they log in to their personal dashboards, they won't automatically receive notification. See Amending email templates.
